Madina was so named by Seidu Kardo, a Muslim, in 1959, as a variant of the Islamic holy City Medina.

HOW DO I GET TO MADINA
You can go to Madina by old road, from Madina Zongo Junction through the Post Office; through the new Road, which travels through the Madina Estate and the new market.
