A common scene from the back seat of a trotro bus.  The bus is approaching the Ghana Cocoa Board offices. The north steps of the Ghana Supply Commission Building can be seen right as well as the workshop for Sabat Motors, a garage. The clothes in the median are the improvised drying lines for head porter girls. They wash the clothes and dry them on the street median and come for them at sunset. Its all part of city life.

The right lane is the trotro route from Tetteh Quarshie to Achimota, the left from Kwame Nkrumah Circle.  A bus stop is located a few metres from this point but boarding actually occurs a little way up, about 300 metres towards the Achimota forest. Achimota is served by trotro buses from north, south and west Accra. From the new terminal, passengers can board trotro to Amasaman, Pokuase, Kwabenya, Taifa, Dome, LaPaz, Mallam and Circle.

The Alajo Tesano trotro route in Accra is a busy transport path for trotro buses going to Achimota, LaPaz, Amasaman and Pokuase. It lies to the north of Accra, two suburbs away from the Kwame Nkrumah Circle. In this photo, a stretch of the road is seen from the Avenor area.

The Palm wine trotro bus stop in Accra is a busy spot for commuters travelling the Nungua and 37 route. The trotro bus stop is situated along the road to 37, opposite the shell filling station. This picture shows the dual carriage lanes with the bus stop to the left.
