Abeka Lapaz to Omanjor follows a westwards route through the Mallam highway with exit point at Awoshie junction. This transit service is a busy route that ferries commuters along the trunk road from Achimota and Darkuman to the north west settlements of Accra.

Labone, a residential enclave in Accra East, has only one trotro route which passes from the Kelewele junction through Labone Secondary school, Ecobank, Coffee shop, Apapa and Wireless to Palm wine. The trotro buses that ply this route ferries passengers from palmwine, Wireless, Apapa to Circle Odawna station, Osu and Accra.

Trotro bus route from Kokomlemle to Nkrumah Circle

The trotro bus route from Kokomlemle to Nkrumah Circle. The photo is taken near Top radio, going down to Vodafone. This bus route actually begins from Pig Farm near Roman Ridge, ravels through Accra New Town and terminates at Odo Rise, at Circle. Trotro buses traveling this way stop at Asantewaa, College junction, Malata, 37 station and Club 1000.

The Accra UDS Guest House is seen in this photo of the Sankara overhead bridge at Kanda. The road descends to the Police Headquarters bus stop and onwards to Danquah Circle.  The flank routes provide opportunities to the trotro bus drivers to mop passengers from the residential blocks and passages along the road.

The Trade Fair Palmwine trotro route is probably the sparsest trotro road in Accra. Traffic hardly jams; giving commuters along the route speedy transition between the many points on the road. Stretching from the La palm Hotel junction to the 37 Military hospital, the Labadi highway is one of the advanced road networks in Accra.

Latebiokorshie trotro route from zongo junction

This trotro route leads from Zongo junction in the North to Chorkor, Dansoman, Korle Bu in the South. It ferries traffic from Kaneshie to the coastal neighbourhoods like Abodwe and Agege.  Important bus stops on this Accra trotro route along the way are Blacksmith, Sempe, Salvation and Korle Bu junction.

Zongo junction – Accra trotro route east

Zongo junction is an important confluence for major neighbourhoods in Accra west. Trotro buses from Dansoman, Latebiorkorshie, Mataheko. Russia, Sukura, Chokor and Korle Gonnor all need to pass through this transit intersection. In this photo, the route from Latebiorkorshie to Kaneshie is shown.

Trotro route over the old Circle overhead Bridge

Trotro buses in Accra, continue to patronise the old Accra Circle overhead bridge.  This bridge, dating to the 60s, will operate even after the completion of the new interchange. It provides a faster route access  transportation from Kokomlemle and New Town to Accra central through Niagara hotel and Adabraka. In this photo, the camera faces the Hajia Dufie Plaza side of the road, towards the Iran Clinic. There are two trotro stops on the Bridge; first step and second step.

Trotro route from Zongo Junction to Latebiorkorshie, Accra

A taxi descends the Zongo Junction Laterbiorkorshie trotro route in Accra Ghana. Going up this way leads to Dansoman, Mamprobi, Chokor and Korle Bu. The spot at which the picture was taken is called Blacksmith, Local Government or Brigade.  Trotro buses coming down will either go straight to Kaneshie through Abossey Okai West or turn right to Circle and Agbobloshie transit.
