Accra trotro driver scouts for passengers

This trotro driver looks out of the window of his mini bus to call out passengers. The conductor called mate in Ghana looks the other way. Early mornings are serous times for trotro drivers in Accra. Its crucial because thats when they rake in most of the money – from school children, workers, traders, tourists and shift staff.  On a typical day, a bus can make 19 trips on route – inbound and outbound.  It takes 45 minutes to cover a route one way.
