The Obra spot trotro station at Circle is finally evacuated to a new location

This morning a team of combined personnel from the Ghana Police Service and the Accra Metropolitan Authorities evacuated the Obra Spot trotro station in Accra. This terminal is at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, close to the new interchange. Its not known why the drivers were asked to move but that plot of land is state land and may have been earmarked for a project or better still, make way for the new interchange. This morning several drivers parked along the East Ring Road for passengers to board. Accratrotro.com advises passengers to pick trotro from the main Neoplan station station as the Obra spot terminal was only an extension of that terminal or a satellite stop.
