The Aayalolo bus service serves the main population areas of Accra such as Amasaman, Adentan, Kasoa and Ofankor to Accra routes. This bus operates like a trotro but highly digital with smart cards, usb charging, wifi, definite route, schedule and advanced tickets.

policies and programs related to highway, aviation, and transportation infrastructure. To make Ghana a transportation hub in the sub-region by providing, expanding, and maintaining transportation infrastructure and services that guarantee a safe, secure, efficient, dependable, effective, and accessible transportation system.
ABOUT BRTs
Bus rapid transit—also called a busway or transitway—is a trolleybus, electric bus, and public transportation bus service system that is intended to outperform a traditional bus system in terms of capacity, dependability, and other quality attributes. A BRT system typically consists of bus-only lanes and prioritizes buses at junctions where they may encounter other traffic. It also incorporates design elements that lessen wait times for passengers getting on or off the bus or paying for ticket.
BENEFITS
Bus rapid transit service is less expensive to establish and run than other popular transit modes like light rail transit. This is because there is no need to lay track, bus drivers often need less training and compensation than rail operators, and bus maintenance is simpler than rail maintenance.
Additionally, buses are more adaptable than rail cars because, with very little resource investment, a bus route can be changed temporarily or permanently to accommodate fluctuating demand or deal with unfavorable road conditions.
INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION
In the York Region, north of Toronto, Canada, a Viva bus exhibits numerous characteristics of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), including ornate stations, cozy express vehicles, distinctive branding, and colored ‘lines’ instead of route numbers. Bus-only lanes allow for quicker journey times and guarantee that mixed traffic congestion won’t delay buses. Buses are kept away from busy curb-side side conflicts, where vehicles and trucks are parking, standing, and turning, by a median alignment bus-only. It is possible to use distinct rights of way, as the fully elevated Xiamen BRT.
OFF BOARD FARES
The delay that comes from passengers paying on board is eliminated when they prepay their fares at the station rather than on the bus. In addition to offering a variety of payment choices, fare machines at stations enable riders to buy multi-ride stored-value cards. Additionally, riders can board at any door with payment, which expedites stops even more.
TRAFFIC PRIORTY
Bus delays are considerably decreased when turns for vehicles are prohibited across the bus lane. At signalized junctions, bus priority is frequently offered to minimize delays by prolonging the green phase or shortening the red phase in the necessary direction relative to the standard sequence. Perhaps the most crucial step in getting buses past intersections is to forbid turns.
