ABOUT 

The capital and largest city of Ghana’s Volta Region is Ho, which also serves as the Ho Municipal District. The city, which is home to the Volta Regional Museum and a cathedral, is situated between Mount Adaklu and Mount Galenukui, also known as the Togo Atakora Range. The city is the capital of Western Togoland, which is not recognized. Formerly, it served as the administrative hub of British Togoland, which is now a part of the Volta Region. According to the National Population Census, Ho’s population increased to 180,420.

The Municipality is bordered to the south by the Adaklu and Agotime-Ziope Districts, to the north and west by the Ho West District, and to the east by the Republic of Togo. The town’s current commercial prominence has been ensured by the Volta Bridge at Adome, which connects Ho with Ghana’s southern ports. Ho, a market hub, is a producer of cotton, cocoa, and palm oil. It is located on a major route that travels northeast toward Togo from the coast. In the Volta Region, there are twelve districts, including Ho. It serves as the Volta Region’s business and administrative hub.

It also have three bars, two restaurants, three conference spaces, a pool, and a business center. The motel is located next to the Ho Police Training Depot on the main Ho-Nyive route. It takes about five minutes by car to get to the Ho central market.

Mawuli School is a boarding senior high school that is coeducational and situated in Ho, in the Volta Region of Ghana’s Ho Municipal area. In 1950, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church established the school. Trans-Volta Togoland’s first senior high school was founded there. In the Volta Region, Mawuli is a typical Ewe name that means “There is a God.”
