Accra trotro passengers mostly board the buses at terminals or along the route. They are mostly people of diverse backgrounds looking to find moderately-priced transport services across the city or simply trying to reach a location so remote that regular transport does not ply.
Trotro buses are less comfortable than long distance coaches. They have aisles and are constrained in leg room. Due to lack of spacious trunk or absence thereof, some passengers may carry luggage or cargo aboard; resulting in inconvenience.
Seats foams are occasionally flattened in some cases; producing discomfort.
But largely, trotro buses are highly reliable in availability and are seen everywhere in the city.
